Types of Drywall Damage We Repair
Most drywall problems fall into a handful of types, and each one gets fixed a little differently.
Nail Pops and Screw Holes
Small bumps and holes from hanging shelves, art, or a TV mount, plus nail pops that show up as a house settles. We fill and sand them flat so they disappear once the wall is painted.
Holes and Dents
Doorknobs, furniture, and plumbing access all leave marks. Small ones get patched. Larger ones may need a section cut out and replaced.
Cracks
Hairline and stress cracks around doors, windows, and ceiling lines get repaired so they blend in. If a crack keeps coming back, that's worth a closer look, and we'll tell you.
Water Damage
Water-stained or soft drywall from a leak needs to be cut out and replaced, not painted over. The leak itself has to be fixed first. We handle the drywall afterward.
Texture Matching
A patch only disappears if the texture matches. Orange peel, knockdown, and smooth finishes each take a different technique.
